The Motel Du Beau office has been closed for several weeks due to fewer travelers venturing outside of their homes,
but the time has come to begin enjoying the great outdoors and all else that Flagstaff and the surrounding area has to offer!
Our office will be reopening on May 22nd - yippee!
Reception hours may be modified for a bit until we are back in full swing meaning we may close the office for several hours
in the afternoon, but we can always leave a key outside for those guests arriving during that time frame.
We are still accepting reservations from folks who are interested in staying at the Du Beau with limited services between
May 15th and 22nd. We can make arrangements for a key to be left in our mailbox, and guests will still have access to the kitchen and laundry facilities located inside the main building. We will also provide a few breakfast items, & coffee and tea will be available as well.
Reservation inquiries, along with cancellation requests or other questions can be sent to
(online booking is currently unavailable through May 21st)
You can rest assured that we are taking additional measures to ensure the health and safety of our guests and employees.
We will continue to focus on proper hand washing hygiene; as we are all being reminded of daily - proper and frequent hand washing is vital to help combat the spread of all pathogens. We have also implemented heightened training on cleaning and disinfecting
protocols for our guest rooms and common areas, with extra attention to frequently touched surfaces.
Wishing everyone excellent health and safe travels!

"Du Beau's Motel Inn" opened its doors in 1929 as one of the first Motels in America!
The project began in 1927, when Canadian entrepreneur Albert E Du Beau relocated to Flagstaff to materialize his vision of a posh "Motor Hotel". He enticed customers with luxuries intended for "the better class of motorist" including carpeting, double beds and tiled indoor bathrooms...
for an all inclusive price of $2.50 per night!
Today, the Motel Du Beau Travelers Inn continues to host a myriad of happy travelers. Its prime location, colorful history and distinctive character make
it a popular respite for adventurous Nomads from around the globe.
The Du Beau is the perfect choice for folks who are seeking quaint accommodations, welcoming guest services, old world ambiance
and best of all...the convenience of parking your vehicle near your door
and exploring the charming downtown district on foot. An abundance
of eateries, brew pubs, art galleries, and locally owned shops surround this memorable "Travelers Inn".
If you're in the mood for a one of a kind retro lodging experience,
the "Mo Du Beau" is it!
We look forward to meeting you,
Lisa and John McCulloch
