The time has come to return to the world of travel & leisure (safely!)
and get back to enjoying the sunny skies, fresh mountain air,
and all else that Flagstaff and the surrounding area has to offer!
The "Mo Du Beau" is Open for Business
(though reception hours will be modified for a bit until we are back in full swing)
We can always make arrangements to leave a key outside for
those guests who are arriving outside of our office hours.
All rooms open onto the motor-court with no elevators or hallways to navigate,
meaning minimal public contact. There is also no central heating or AC
to be concerned about (it's an old building!).
We can also arrange for a "contactless" experience at the Du Beau if that is your preference.
Please call or email to request this type of arrangement.
(keys will be left in our mailbox & breakfast items will be placed in your room)
In addition, many businesses are now open in the historic downtown district which
makes the Motel Du Beau the perfect location to park, walk & explore!
You can rest assured that we are taking additional measures to ensure the health and safety
of our guests and employees. Our employees will continue to focus on proper and frequent
hand washing hygiene and we have several hand sanitizing stations in our public areas.
All keys will be sanitized before and after use, and we have also implemented heightened
training on cleaning and disinfecting protocols for our guest rooms and common areas,
with extra attention paid to frequently touched surfaces.
We hope to see you soon...
Wishing everyone excellent health and safe travels!

"Du Beau's Motel Inn" opened its doors in 1929 as one of the first Motels in America!
The project began in 1927, when Canadian entrepreneur Albert E Du Beau relocated to Flagstaff to materialize his vision of a posh "Motor Hotel". He enticed customers with luxuries intended for "the better class of motorist" including carpeting, double beds and tiled indoor bathrooms...
for an all inclusive price of $2.50 per night!
Today, the Motel Du Beau Travelers Inn continues to host a myriad of happy travelers. Its prime location, colorful history and distinctive character make
it a popular respite for adventurous Nomads from around the globe.
The Du Beau is the perfect choice for folks who are seeking quaint accommodations, welcoming guest services, old world ambiance
and best of all...the convenience of parking your vehicle near your door
and exploring the charming downtown district on foot. An abundance
of eateries, brew pubs, art galleries, and locally owned shops surround this memorable "Travelers Inn".
If you're in the mood for a one of a kind, retro lodging experience,
the "Mo Du Beau" is it!
We look forward to meeting you,
Lisa and John McCulloch
